From a pregnancy standpoint, over 35 is classified as “advanced maternal age.” Giving birth to a child after this age can create many complications during the pregnancy.

There are some advantages as well. It’s likely that you’re eating a better diet and are exercising more regularly than you did when you were in your 20s which has a positive effect on baby’s growth.

So, you need not worry if you are conceiving a baby in your late thirties. Just be regular with your check ups and follow a healthy routine.
