3d rendered medically accurate illustration of a fetus in week 15

Your baby measures 4.5 inches long, and weighs about 75 grams.

He is moving amniotic fluid into his nose and upper respiratory tract; this helps the air sacs to develop. His legs are growing longer than his arms. He can move all his joints and limbs. Even with shut eyelids, he can sense light. He is forming taste buds. Babies spend a lot of time breathing, sucking and swallowing in order to practice for when they are out of the womb. He is also moving a lot – his arms, legs and torso. His bones begin to ossify – which means you can see it if an X-Ray is taken.
